A market-leading Esports platform, is looking for a Payments Operations Manager to join the team. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the payment operations agents and more  This is a remote position. Responsibilities:  Oversee the day-to-day operations of the payments operations department, including payment processing, fraud prevention, reconciliation, and reporting. Develop and implement strategies to enhance payment processes and minimize payment-related risks. Lead, mentor, and support a large team of payment ops agents, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Promote a high-performing, KPI-driven culture in your team - focused on both customer satisfaction (NPS) and hitting your operational targets (CSAT, SLAs, etc.) Analyze payment data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and drive operational efficiencies. Alongside senior leadership, work operationally with account managers of third-party payment service providers, banks, and other external partners to optimize payment operations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement enhancements to the payment platform, addressing issues and optimizing user experience. Prepare and present regular reports on payment operations performance, including key metrics, trends, and insights, to senior management.   Requirements: At least 4 years of experience in payment operations preferably within iGaming or fintech industries, with a strong understanding of payment methods, regulations, and compliance requirements. At least 2 years managing teams of operation agents. In-depth knowledge of payment processing technologies, systems, and best practices, including familiarity with payment gateways, fraud detection tools, and reconciliation processes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and metrics to drive actionable insights and decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Proven track record of driving process improvements and optimizing operational efficiency in payment operations. Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to payments in the iGaming industry, such as PCI DSS, AML, and KYC regulations. What’s in it for you? A market-leading Esports platform, is looking for a Head of Customer Operations to join the team. You will oversee vital operational departments, including Customer Support, Payments and more. This is a fully remote position Responsibilities : Working closely with the Director of Operations to provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations teams,  Championing a data-driven culture and implementing thorough KPI tracking across the board Fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the operations team. Working closely with HR, Training & QA teams to continuously track and improve performance across the Operations team. Reviewing operations reports to identify trends and changes. Proactively responding to emerging trends and industry shifts. Overseeing all operational processes and workflows to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Implementing best practices and operational standards to optimize performance and drive operational excellence. Collaborating closely with the Customer Support Team Leads to ensure exceptional service delivery to our customers. Working closely with the Payments & Fraud Leads to develop and implement robust risk management and fraud prevention strategies. Working closely with the AML and Responsible Gaming leads to ensure that all staff are trained in compliance and escalations are handled accordingly. Acting as a key liaison between operations and other departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve common goals. Providing regular reports and analysis on operational performance, offering insights, and recommendations for improvement. Monitoring customer support metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction. Ensuring smooth processing of payments and transactions, minimizing risks, and maximizing efficiency. Providing second approvals on critical operational matters. Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in iGaming or FinTech Operations management with a particular focus on at least 3 years of experience overseeing all Customer Operations. Previous extensive experience working in the following operations areas: payments, fraud, compliance, AML/KYC/verifications, or responsible gaming. Previous experience in managing teams within fully remote environments. Exceptional communication skills and collaborative expertise with different departments and internal teams. Proficiency in project management & driving process improvements. Technical proficiency with CRM and other collaboration and customer-facing relevant tools (such as JIRA, and Intercom). Proactive attitude and exceptional problem-solving skills. Strong strategic thinking and the ability to leverage data for decision-making. What’s in it for you? Location - Malta  Hybrid working model  Responsibilities: . Building strong working relationships with clients; · Works as an effective team member to accurately complete project components and tasks, including: - Preparing, maintaining, updating and finalising accounting data - Processing of non-technical and technical information in accounting systems - Preparation and submission of personal tax returns for sole traders - Preparation and submission of VAT tax returns for clients - Preparation of Management Accounts - Preparation of Trial Balances - Preparation and maintenance of cash books - Preparation and maintenance of accounting journals - Dealing with the relevant regulatory and supervisory authorities   Requirements: · Currently reading for ACCA or equivalent; · Working experience within an accounting team would be considered an asset; · Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs.
