Pentasia's Mediterranean Regional Office began operations from Malta early in 2006, sourcing candidates for the growing number of licensees based on the island. Having developed a uniquely regional approach to serving the local market that proved to be extremely successful, the Maltese based operation soon expanded its remit to cover its present operation of Mediterranean region (excl Gibraltar).
Pentasia Mediterranean has been based at its present premises in Santa Venera since January 2007 and now employs a team of 15. Its commercial team includes consultants specialising in all areas of iGaming including the newly regulated Italian and Spanish markets and also sources IT specific candidates for clients on the Island.

Bruce Gamble
Managing Director, International Search
Bruce started in the recruitment industry in 1991 and spent several years as a recruiter with international consultancy, Computer People PLC. During his tenure he account-managed the recruitment of IT staff into the Bank of America, Visa International, Cap Gemini, and Ernst & Young with colleague, Rob Dowling.
In 1999 Bruce established a division for Mortimer Alexander Knight & Charles Executive Search & Selection by recruiting a select team of six former colleagues. Key clients included Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutsche Bank, Verizon, and start-up company, The Sporting Exchange, now known as Betfair. After some key pre and post launch placements into Betfair, Bruce and his colleagues started recruiting for a number of other newly established online poker and casino operators, some of whom are now international market leaders.
Recognising the recruiting potential of this high growth sector, Bruce established Pentasia in 2001 to focus purely on the high growth niche of iGaming. Today, Bruce manages the key international retained search assignments for boardroom directors and officers within start-up and publicly listed companies.

Rob Dowling
Chief Executive Officer
Rob has over 10 years experience in international recruitment within New Media, IT and iGaming. Having spent his early career with foreign exchange brokers ICAP, Rob moved into recruitment in early 1998 and with the market leading IT Recruiters Computer People.
He was headhunted into the position of Head of Technical New Media at Mortimer Charles Recruitment in 2000 before moving on to a Director position at LBHR International in 2001. At the end of 2001, Rob formed Pentasia as a Director with business partner Bruce Gamble.
In his present position of CEO for the Pentasia Group of companies, Rob is responsible for the strategic commercial direction of the company and its overall operational structure worldwide.

Nigel Blythe-Tinker
Executive Chairman
Nigel Blythe-Tinker Ll.B., FCIS is a lawyer and chartered company secretary by training. He has extensive experience both in the UK and internationally of the recruitment and gaming sectors having held senior executive and non executive positions in FTSE 100 amd AIM listed companies.
His City experience spans over 30 years having specialised in main and AIM list flotations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance/restructuring and corporate governance. Julia Ferrari
Group Operations Director
Julia Ferrari joined Pentasia in October 2004, having held HR positions with Ericsson, Coca Cola and Virgin Atlantic beforehand. After three years leading a team of recruiters responsible for some of Pentasia's largest corporate accounts, Julia moved into an operations focused role before taking the position of Group Operations Director in April 2008.
A Graduate in Business Studies, Julia is now responsible for managing all strategic and tactical aspects of the Pentasia Group and ensuring that it possesses a robust and adaptable internal structure and resources designed to support rapid expansion.

Matt Vines
Group Commercial Director
Matt joined Pentasia in 2005 after three years in recruitment previously, where he focused on the new media, entertainment and on-line gaming sectors. After 4 years as one of the group’s key consultants, Matt moved into his present position of Group Commercial Director.

Jonathan Pettemerides

Jonathan Pettemerides has been with Pentasia since 2006, initially working in the UK Head Office as a Consultant he progressed to lead recruitment teams in the UK and Singapore.
Promoted to Managing Director of Pentasia Asia Pacific at the start of 2010 following eighteen months in Asia; Jonathan is now responsible for leading Pentasia’s commercial activity and operations in the region.

Ulrika joined Pentasia's International operation in June 2006 to further develop the expanding Scandinavian recruitment market. As the first member of the company's Malta team, Christopher joined Pentasia in January 2006 after spending four years within the locally based, Maltese recruitment sector. Lucy joined Pentasia to manage the ever expanding client and candidate database systems and the company's extensive range of on-line channels for job advertising vacancies. Before joining Pentasia, Lucy spent four years employed as a Deputy Manager for one of Ladbrokes' busiest High Street branches. Rebecca De Gaetano
Consultant
Fluent in English and German and the holder of a degree in Psychology, Rebecca joined Pentasia's Malta team as a Resourcer in August 2009, having successfully completed an internship with the company in the summer of 2008. She is mainly responsible for qualifying candidates for junior level positions for Pentasia's growing client base in the wider European online gaming markets.

Susanne Forsman
Resourcer, Nordics
Susanne joined Pentasia in July 2009 as a Resourcer and Junior Consultant after spending two years working within the online gaming industry. There she gained valuable insight and understanding of the customer service department, payments solutions and casino operations in general.
Susanne now works closely with both the Malta and Scandinavian offices in order to develop and expand the Scandinavian recruitment market to its fullest potentials on a global scale.

Collette Mangion
Group Operations & Marketing Executive
Collette joined Pentasia in September 2008 as Group Operations & Marketing Executive for the Maltese regional office. Collette brings along creative online and offline marketing experience together with events management from her previous work experience where she was responsible for the organization of a number of conferences in Italy, Brussels & UK.
Collette is highly involved in the daily operations and marketing including regular updating of existing websites, production of graphic art, marketing visuals and advertising media, and the organization of various company events.
Collette also acts as Personal Assistant to the Group CEO and the Board of Directors. Collette is well travelled, speaks fluent Italian, English & Maltese and is conversant in Spanish.

Mario Attard
Assistant Accountant
Mario joined Pentasia in April 2009 and currently holds the position of Accounts Assistant in the company’s finance department. Before joining Pentasia, Mario initially spent eleven years working with local manufacturers, before moving to a UK Accountancy firm, based in Malta where he enhanced his accountancy experience. Mario is currently studying for his ACCA qualification.

Karl Delia
Group Accountant
Karl joined Pentasia in November 2009 as Group Accountant, taking on the responsibility for managing the Pentasia Group finance function. Based in Malta and a fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants England and Wales (FCCA), Karl has occupied a range of different accounting and auditing roles in various firms including PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Resolve Professional Services Limited and Vodafone Malta Limited.
Karl has also worked as a freelance accountant and consultant servicing small and medium sized businesses over a wide range of industries.

Liang Ching Tan
Consultant
Ching joined Pentasia Asia Pacific office as a Consultant. Her background working as a Project Management Consultant within the IT industry combined with her considerable recruitment experience gives her an advantage when sourcing technical candidates. Ching has a degree from a UK University in Software Engineering and her role at Pentasia focuses on providing contingency recruitment services to a cross section of industry clients most of which are technical requirements.

Julie Thanapalan joined Pentasia Asia Pacific in early 2010 and brings a wealth of recruitment experience across the Asian region to the company. Enrica joined Pentasia’s Regional Mediterranean Office in June ’10 after a couple of years working within the Marketing Industry. Fluent in English, Italian and Maltese Enrica graduated from the University of Malta after reading for a degree in Communications.
Her main roles within the Pentasia team include qualifying new candidates who register directly through the Pentasia website, source new candidates through various recruitment websites, as well as liaise with consultants in order to identify the ideal candidate for our online gaming vacancies.

Denise Cutajar
Recruitment Consultant, IT
Denise is one of the newest additions to the Pentasia Mediterranean team and her role is that of an IT Recruitment Consultant. Denise focuses mainly on specialized positions within the local IT market, and she is responsible for sourcing, interviewing and recommending the strongest candidates to the vast database of local clients within the IT sector.
Denise achieved a Diploma in Hospitality Management and comes from a background of 8 years hands on managerial experience within the Tourism and Travel Industry, as well as another additional 2 years experience as a Recruitment Executive for Senior and Junior roles within the local market.

Artjoms Kobahidze

Artjoms joined Pentasia in April 2010 as a Resourcer having gained 2.5 years customer service experience in the online sector as well as project management. His duties include sourcing new candidates, conducting interviews and assisting the consultants of the Mediterranean office with candidate searches and correspondence. Pentasia has always been the pioneer in organising and sponsoring social events for the online gaming and IT sectors in Malta. We were first to co-organise the first ever iGaming Social in Malta back in May 2006.
