Description
Our client is a unique operator in the world of online sportsbetting who continuously impress their customers with the most innovative betting experiences. They are looking to increase the use of analytics to meet company requirement by hiring a Modeling Analyst.
You will be responsible for the creation of statistical models, using SPSS Modeler, to optimize cross sell, marketing, and channel strategy. You will be involved in development of SPSS Modeler programs, the maintenance of those programs, stakeholder deliverables, and analytics requests.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be the key player in a new in-house modelling function, working with stakeholders to conceptualize models appropriate to the decisions those models are needed to support
- Design and build various profitability, retention, customer segmentation, and ROI models as needed
- Work with data teams to validate data completeness and integrity
- Partner with internal marketing, product and technology teams to validate and implement modelling into decision-making and strategy
- Develop comprehensive testing and measurement programs that quantify and optimize models with each successive execution
- Create propensity models covering areas such as cross sell, player life time value, and customer churn
- Create report templates for clearly communicating results and conclusions of projects to the stakeholders

- Extremely comfortable using graphs and other illustrative tools to present large volumes of data

Education & Experience:
- Must have a Bachelors/Masters degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, computer science, economics or operations research
- Must have experience with advanced analytical tools such as SAS or SPSS
- Demonstrated knowledge of SQL required
- Excellent understanding of statistics, regression analysis, machine learning, and other predictive modelling techniques
- Ability in Microsoft Excel and Excel VBA a distinct advantage
