Senior Game Platform Developer
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain industry-leading gaming products across tablet, cabinet, and emerging gaming platforms. This role will be responsible for building high-performance game frameworks, implementing scalable game platform components, and contributing to the technical direction of the gaming technology stack.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in C++, game architecture, and real-time interactive systems, combined with a passion for delivering engaging gaming experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable game engines, frameworks, and reusable software components.
Implement game mechanics, bonus features, animations, and user interface functionality.
Optimize game performance, memory usage, and responsiveness across supported platforms.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices.
Participate in technical design reviews, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues.
Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, certification requirements, and quality standards.
Support production releases, post-launch maintenance, and continuous platform improvements.
Collaborate with designers, artists, product teams, and other engineers to deliver high-quality gaming products.
Contribute to development standards, tooling improvements, and the adoption of new technologies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of professional software development experience.
5+ years of experience developing gaming, casino, slot, mobile gaming, or interactive entertainment products.
Expert-level proficiency in C++.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns and software architecture.
Experience developing game engines, game frameworks, or reusable gaming platforms.
Experience with multithreaded programming and performance optimization.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience using source control systems such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar game engines.
Experience developing regulated gaming products.
Knowledge of GLI-11, GLI-14, GLI-15, or equivalent gaming standards.
Experience with mobile and tablet-based gaming platforms.
Familiarity with Java, C#, or scripting languages.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Previous experience leading technical teams or projects.

Design and deliver online slot games from concept to release, combining creative vision with mathematical rigour. Core responsibilities span:
Game Design – Full documentation: mechanics, UX/UI flows, feature specs, and product requirements
Maths & Simulation – Build C++/C# simulators to validate RTP, volatility, hit frequency; produce developer-ready maths docs
Creative Leadership – Define game loops, design pillars, and creative vision in collaboration with Product and Art leads
