A Pentasia client is a dynamic and fast-growing company operating in the iGaming and casino sector. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our finance team and help drive financial performance, cash flow management, and strategic planning.


The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and optimizing cash flow. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial reporting, and hands-on experience in managing accounts payable and receivable. A background in the iGaming or casino industry is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and forecasts.
  • Monitor and manage company cash flow, ensuring financial stability and liquidity.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
  • Assist in budget planning, financial modeling, and cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial operations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for financial decision-making.
  • Work closely with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Analyze key financial metrics and provide regular performance updates to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a financial control or management accounting role.
  • Experience in the iGaming, casino, or online gaming industry is a huge advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
