About the Role:

This role involves managing the full spectrum of IT operations within a company operating in the betting industry. It includes ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of all local IT systems and infrastructure. The position requires oversight of both hardware and software environments, day-to-day technical support for users, and coordination with global IT counterparts to align on best practices. A critical component of the role is maintaining operational continuity and data integrity while proactively addressing potential threats and vulnerabilities in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily IT operations including infrastructure, user support, and device management.
• Liaise with the Compliance Officer to ensure the betting system complies with rules and requirements.
• Implement and manage a comprehensive security framework for a betting system.
• Manage and improve Help Desk operations to ensure timely resolution of user issues and service requests
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate penetration testing.
• Develop and execute incident response protocols for security breaches.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant regulatory standards and liaise with compliance personnel.
• Lead IT and security projects from planning through to delivery.
• Maintain strong communication with global and local stakeholders, providing updates on system performance and security.

 

Requirements:

• 6–8 years in IT operations with leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Strong expertise in IT security frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in security tools, technical project management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Fluent English, with excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the betting or gaming industry is preferred.
