About the Role:
This position plays a key role in safeguarding transaction integrity by overseeing deposits, withdrawals, and suspicious activities across digital platforms. It requires proactive monitoring of payment trends, investigating potential fraud, and resolving issues swiftly to maintain a smooth customer experience. The role also involves working with internal departments and external payment service providers to enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and support strategic initiatives aimed at improving conversion rates and reducing costs. It's a great fit for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in navigating the fast-paced world of online payments and fraud prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage payment transactions and escalate issues as needed.
- Identify and investigate suspicious activity, supporting fraud prevention measures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure secure and efficient payment operations.
- Handle customer escalations related to payments and fraud.
- Review payment trends, fraud risks, and conversion rates, optimizing performance and reducing costs.
- Assist in regulatory compliance efforts and special projects in fraud prevention.
Desired Experience:
- 3–5 years in payments or fraud detection, preferably in iGaming or e-commerce.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Familiarity with online payment platforms and financial regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, IT, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial tools, Google Suite, Jira, and Slack.
- Knowledge of global PSP regulations or experience in chargeback representation considered a PLUS.
