SRE / Support Engineer / Tech administrator


I am looking for a SRE / Support Engineer / Tech Administrator to join a great white label iGaming platform provider. The role is fully remote from Europe.

Responsibilities:
Be the 1st line of Tech support for production incidents
  • Initial root cause analysis (based on previously created playbooks).
  • Escalation when required. Dev ticket creation when required.
  • Communication of updates on incidents to stakeholders. Incidents ticket management.
  • Track and follow up on solution delivery for each incident.
  • Processing a stream of access requests to various systems under Tech team responsibility. Following instructions on providing access, ensuring approval for certain accesses, managing IT request tickets.
  • Perform certain tasks within new environments’ setup (in most cases related to creating new users etc).
  • Perform onboarding for new joiners (ensure needed software is installed, needed access for the role is granted).
  • Assist with mobile apps submission and approvals (communication with apple / google and internal stakeholders).
Requirements and skills

  • Work experience in an IT organisation in a similar (app support / systems engineering) role (O).
  • Experience working with atlassian software suite (jira / confluence / bitbucket) (M)
  • Excellent understanding of IT support processes (M).
  • Knowledge and experience of working with at least 1 tool for queried log analysis: New relic / Datadog / Splunk / Sumo Logic (M)
  • Knowledge and experience of working with systems in a cloud provider (GCP is a preference) (knowledge of connecting to resources / understanding permissions) (M)
  • Good knowledge of Python and at least 1 more scripting language (bash / php / c shell / ruby etc). (M)
  • Excellent knowledge of databases and SQL (creating and optimising SQL queries - reading execution plan, understanding indexes etc). (M)
  • Problem-solving attitude, sharp mind. (M)
  • Team spirit, active sharing of knowledge with peers. (M)
