Our client is a fast-growing payment processing start-up with a primary focus on the online gambling industry. As part of their global expansion, they are seeking a Sales Manager to lead efforts across the EMEA and APAC regions.
In this role, you will act as the company's sales expert for these regions, working hands-on to support sales growth. Our client is looking for a hunter-style sales professional with a strong network across EMEA and APAC, experience with high risk merchants, and professional who is capable of transforming connections into new business opportunities.
This position is heavily focused on new client acquisition (80% sales), with some responsibilities in account management (20%). There is also significant growth potential.
Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop a plan and strategy to increase our share in EMEA / APAC
- Build processes to increase the efficiency on onboarding, activation, and expansion of new and existing client
- Benchmark competitor solutions and propose new features to increase our adoption
- Work collaboratively across teams - Compliance, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal
- Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet our sales objectives
- Own the sales pipeline at every stage of development and monitor targets
- Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers and industry leaders
- Create a framework to measure and report KPIs and adjust approach based on development and data
- Be willing to travel frequently to meet clients and colleagues as well as attending industry events
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience developing sales strategies for the EMEA and APAC region
- 3 – 4 years experience in a similar role within FinTech, online gambling, Crypto, or Forex sector
- Language proficiency in English. Additional languages such as Hindi, Japanese, and Chinese are a plus.
- Critical thinking an analytical skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- CRM management experience (HubSpot preferred)
- Available to travel to conferences, industry/team events and to visit providers
Important: Preferred location is the Philippines, but our client is also willing to consider candidates from Malta or Cyprus.
