Main Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and optimize a secure and scalable cloud and hybrid network infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
- Configure and maintain load balancers (Nginx, AWS ELB, Azure Load Balancer) to ensure traffic efficiency and system reliability.
- Oversee and execute complex network migrations, including on-premise to cloud transitions, data center moves, and virtualization projects.
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Implement best-in-class security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection, to protect network integrity.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery preparedness through strategic planning and rapid incident response.
- Work closely with IT, DevOps, and Security teams to align networking strategies with business goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance network efficiency.
Desired Experience:
- 9+ years in network engineering roles, with a strong focus on cloud networking.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure networking solutions.
- 3+ years of experience with load balancers such as Nginx, AWS ELB, and Azure Load Balancer.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale network transitions, including data center relocations and hybrid-cloud integrations.
- Deep expertise in network security, including segmentation, high-availability architecture, and compliance best practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Certifications & Qualifications:
- Required: Cisco CCNP, AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert), AWS Certified Advanced Networking. (at least 2 of 3)
- Preferred: RHCE, LPIC-1/2, CCIE, Fortinet Certified Professional, or security-focused certifications (CISSP, CCSP).
This role requires availability within European or North American time zones, with flexibility for urgent incidents or critical meetings.
