Senior frontend developer with Sportsbook

We are looking for a senior front end engineer with Sportsbook experience that is passionate about their craft who can transform product visions and designs into unrivalled user experiences.
The industry is burdened by legacy operators that have built subpar products and experiences, we are here to change that and do what the fintech’s like revolut did do banks and linear did to jira and build the future of online gaming with a focus on crafting magical user experiences with elegant design delivered to customers through a slick front end.
We are looking for someone who is excited about joining a well funded startup pre-launch and using their skills to craft experiences that make design a differentiator for us.
What you will do;
? Build new user-facing components everything from navigation and search to an accumulator betslip
? Collaborate with product managers and designers to challenge the status quo in developing magical signature user experiences
? Transform APIs and Figma designs into outstanding user products
? Input into architecture and technology decisions for front-end
? Develop high-quality code and participate in peer code reviews
? Take ownership of the full component, working with the wider engineering team to ensure seamless links with back-end and infrastructure teams
? Performance monitoring and optimisation, you will ensure your components continue to work as effectively and efficiently as possible
What the candidate must have:
? Experience in front-end development, preferably with a portfolio or examples of past projects.
? Experience with React and Typescript
? Experience owning features end-to-end: from design review to delivery in production
? Experience with automated testing
? Experience with modern frontend tooling (eslint, prettier)
? Skill in developing efficient and effective user interfaces building from UX and UI designs.
? Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to building and testing solutions.
? Ability to own features end-to-end: from design review through execution to delivery in production.
? Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teammates.
? Flexibility to work remotely and willingness to travel for occasional team meetings.
? A team player who takes ownership and pride in delivering exceptional products while fostering a vibrant culture.
? Passionate about user experience and a keen eye for design
Nice to have:
? Ideally, this candidate will have experience in a sportsbook that built their own frontend and had a small lean team where he was a key contributor not having worked on one component.
? Experience in Svelte
? Experience optimising front end solutions for international and emerging markets with localisation and data considerations
? Knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture
? Experience with meta-frameworks
? Knowledge of Svelte / SvelteKit
? Knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture
? Experience with Github actions
