My client is a 20-year veteran in online payment services, offering a feature-rich platform that supports both new and established e-commerce businesses.
They are looking for Java Software Engineer to work fully remote in Malta (VISA sponsorship available).

Desired Experience:
- 3+ years in software development, with strong Java skills.
- Proficient in Spring, Maven, Hibernate, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Familiar with MySQL, Docker, Linux, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git.
- Experience with test-driven development and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Knowledge of Perl is a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop APIs and microservices following enterprise architecture standards.
- Write unit and integration tests, ensuring high-quality code.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Research and execute proofs of concept on new technologies.
- Collaborate effectively within the team and communicate with stakeholders.
