About the Opportunity:

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager who will play a key role in shaping and executing user onboarding strategies. Your goal will be to design processes that not only introduce users to our platform but also drive their engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction. By incorporating elements of gamification and user-focused techniques, you'll ensure that newcomers have an enjoyable and seamless experience as they get acquainted with the platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Onboarding Experiences: Create and implement onboarding experiences tailored to our gaming audience, with a focus on increasing user activation and long-term engagement.
  • Gamification Implementation: Integrate fun, interactive elements into the onboarding process to encourage users to explore and utilize the platform's features.
  • Segmented Onboarding Flows: Develop personalized onboarding flows for various player segments, taking into account their gaming backgrounds and preferences for a more engaging experience.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze key metrics such as activation rates and user engagement to assess the effectiveness of onboarding processes and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including Product, Development, Marketing, and Community, to ensure the onboarding process is consistent and aligns with our brand.
  • Project Oversight: Manage multiple onboarding projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
  • User Feedback Integration: Regularly engage with users to gather feedback, continuously refining the onboarding process to ensure new users feel supported and welcomed.
  • Scalable Solutions: Implement best practices and scalable solutions to streamline the onboarding process as the user base grows.
  • Enhance Engagement: Continuously look for ways to incorporate gaming mechanics, challenges, and rewards into the onboarding process to keep users excited and engaged.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in managing user onboarding within the gaming or iGaming industry, with a proven track record in enhancing user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Gamification Skills: Expertise in designing onboarding processes that include gamification to increase user interaction and enjoyment.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong understanding of user behavior and data analysis to optimize onboarding experiences and tailor them to the needs of various audiences.
  • Adaptability: Ability to navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and pivot strategies quickly in response to user feedback and market trends.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and align onboarding strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Creative Approach: Innovative mindset with the ability to creatively apply gaming mechanics to improve user onboarding and experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Community Engagement: Familiarity with virtual items, skins, and the dynamics of gaming communities to design onboarding flows that resonate with players.
  • Effective Gamification: Understanding of gamification techniques, including rewards systems and progress tracking, to enhance the onboarding experience.
  • Certifications: Project management or UX design certifications like PMP, CAPM, or CSM are advantageous for executing projects efficiently and creating user-friendly onboarding designs.
