Business Intelligence Analyst .

Job Description:

A well established iGaming company in Malta are on the lookout for a  Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with a focus on compliance and finance. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Compliance and Finance teams, analyzing data to support regulatory decision-making and ensure alignment with compliance standards. This role will report to the Head of BI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources to support compliance and business functions; develop dashboards and reports.
• Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness, especially for compliance-critical data.
• Compliance Insights: Provide recommendations to mitigate compliance risks and align with regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work with Development and Compliance teams to address data gaps and communicate findings clearly.
• Process Improvement: Automate compliance reporting and improve data tracking systems.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of compliance-related data processes.
• Promote Compliance Culture: Advocate for regulatory alignment within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Mathematics, Data Science, Compliance, etc.).
• Experience: 2-5 years in a data-driven role (BI Analyst, Data Analyst, etc.), preferably within the iGaming industry.
• Skills: Strong SQL skills, experience in data modelling, data quality assurance, BI tools like Tableau, familiarity with compliance frameworks, and ETL tools.
• Other Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple compliance priorities.
