Key Responsibilities:

 

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering their professional growth.
  • Set goals, track performance, and ensure team alignment with business objectives.
  • Promote a culture of automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

 

Infrastructure Management:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
  • Manage infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for automated provisioning.
  • Monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations.

 

CI/CD & Automation

  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and testing.
  • Automate workflows to improve efficiency and minimize manual intervention.

 

System Reliability & Security:

  • Implement observability tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
  • stack).
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system reliability and performance issues.

 

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to align DevOps strategies with company goals.
  • Advocate for best practices in automation, scalability, and security.

 

Key Qualifications:

 

Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elk stack)

 

Leadership & Experience:

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor DevOps or engineering teams.
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience with high-availability, scalable systems.

 

Soft Skills:

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
