Finance Assistant
Location: London or Malta - Remote role
A rapidly growing online crypto casino company are looking for a Finance Assistant to support its finance team and report to the Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily bookkeeping, including invoices, journals, intercompany transactions, and data entry in Xero across various jurisdictions.
- Handle balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts.
- Support month-end processes such as accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with year-end preparation, including audits and statutory filings.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for management.
- Manage expense reimbursements and enhance internal service.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Perform variance analysis and assist with finance-related projects.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
- Experience in full month-end cycles, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial software like Xero
- A degree in accounting/finance is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, preferably in iGaming or cryptocurrency.
