An iGaming business is growing out of start-up and looking to hire an ambitious and forward-thinking Head of HR.  You will lead the Romanian HR strategy, operations, and culture. This is not a traditional HR role—it is a strategic leadership position with a mandate to build, scale, and future-proof our local human capital operations in close coordination with HQ.
You’ll lead the entire HR lifecycle—from recruitment and compliance to engagement and capability development—ensuring our people agenda directly contributes to business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities will cover;

Strategic & Organisational Leadership
? Define and execute the Romanian People & Culture Strategy in alignment with Group HR vision and local business needs.
? Design future-ready organisational structures, workforce planning, and job grading frameworks.
? Act as a strategic business partner to the Romania CEO and Group leadership.
Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand
? Lead recruitment efforts across tech, operations, and customer service roles.
? Build a reputable employer brand in the Romanian market through partnerships, storytelling, and recruitment marketing.
? Ensure smooth, high-impact onboarding and cultural integration for new hires.
Performance, Development & Culture
? Establish robust performance management systems aligned with KPIs, accountability, and career progression.
? Launch and promote learning initiatives via Coursera/Udemy and in-house coaching tracks.
? Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and transparent culture that scales with the business.
People Operations & Compliance
? Own all core HR processes: documentation, payroll coordination, contracts, and attendance.
? Ensure full compliance with Romanian employment legislation and coordinate with legal/compliance teams as needed.
? Monitor workforce data, implement HRIS tools, and drive analytics-based decision-making.
Engagement & Employee Well-Being
? Deliver monthly team events, employee appreciation programs, and support for personal milestones.
? Oversee office engagement programs such as Happy Hour Fridays, birthday vouchers, and team-building initiatives.
? Ensure access to private health insurance and support wellness and mental health awareness in the workplace.
Ideal Candidate Profile
? 7+ years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 3 in a senior leadership role.
? Experience in a multinational or high-growth environment, ideally in gaming, tech, or regulated sectors.
? Expert knowledge of Romanian labor law and local employment best practices.
? Strong leadership and influencing skills, with excellent English and Romanian communication.
? Data-literate, tech-savvy, and people-first—with the ability to move fast and think long-term.
