Legal Counsel .

A well-established iGaming business in Limassol, is on the lookout for a Legal Counsel to join the team. Reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance, the chosen candidate will provide legal and compliance support for the company's business activities.

Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and modify contracts with providers and clients
• Research and analyze legislation and gaming licensing matters
• Support gaming license applications and maintain existing licenses
• Handle KYC checks, documentation verification, and sanctions checks
• Complete legal paperwork, including questionnaires, applications, and policies
• Open accounts with banks and payment providers
• Register and maintain companies and trademarks across jurisdictions
• Conduct legal research and handle GDPR, AML, and IP matters
• Update website documentation to ensure compliance with regulations
• Assist with various legal tasks under the Head of Legal and Compliance

Requirements:

• Law degree from a reputable university
• Exceptional English writing and editing skills
• Upper-intermediate English or higher
• 2+ years of experience in the gambling industry
• Experience with AML/KYC, GDPR, and compliance regulations
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Well-organized and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure
• Hybrid work model: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote
