Responsibilities include:
- Lead and cultivate a team through hiring, coaching, and mentoring, ensuring a highly engaged, performance-driven, and results-oriented environment.
- Plan human resources and provide the team with everything necessary to run daily operations smoothly including tools and processes.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop a strategy for a leading B2B Sportsbook risk management function, creating a vision and setting KPIs for acceptable Sportsbook margins.
- Instigate and manage a real-time bet acceptance process for partners and educate the team on best practices.
- Oversee the implementation and use of real-time bet monitors to develop and convey the betting 'story' of individual sports players through bet noting.
- Extensive Sportsbook industry experience, understanding trading profitability issues and ranking potential risks.
- Extensive experience working with numbers and risk management tools, analyzing and interpreting financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, conveying complex risk management concepts to senior, less technical audiences and external partners.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail, focusing on trading margins and decision-making.
