Main Responsibilities:
- Optimize processes and enhance efficiencies across various sportsbook practices, including margin control, sports betting solutions development, and statistical modeling.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis on large datasets covering player performance, team statistics, and game outcomes.
- Merge and analyze data from diverse sources to enrich modeling and analytical insights.
- Generate comprehensive reports based on data interpretation and analysis to support decision-making and recommendations.
- Develop statistical and predictive models to forecast game outcomes, player performance, and other relevant variables, considering various factors influencing sports events.
- Design and implement algorithms to automate processes, improve decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency in sports-related operations.
- Construct quantitative models and tools necessary for trading a wide range of sports, utilizing advanced techniques for continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of teams, players, and strategies, facilitating data-driven decisions and product performance optimization.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of the sports betting industry, trading, and sports modeling.
- Programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Technical knowledge & understanding of software development processes.
- Statistical modeling, data visualization techniques, machine learning, & predictive algorithms.
- Experience in building mathematical models.
